William Brody, CLU®
Bill and wife, Mary, live in San Rafael, California, and have three children: David, Chris and Angie. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Marketing. He joined New York Life in June 1968 as an Agency Trainee, and signed his NYLIC contract on July 1, 1969.
Bill is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, having qualified every year since he started in 1969. He has consistently qualified for the Chairman's Council of New York Life, with over 25 years of membership. Chairman's Council reflects recognition by New York Life for very high level of production. He became a Chartered Life Underwriter in 1973.
The Brody family has been associated with New York Life over three generations. Bill’s father, Arthur P. Brody, retired after 30 years, and David Brody, CLU has been with the company since 2000. Chris Brody joined in 2003. Both achieved membership in NYLIC’s Executive Council in 2012, reflecting high levels of production. Among the three of them they have over 94 years of affiliation with New York Life.
David A. Brody, CLU®
Financial Advisor
Dave joined Brody, Walsh & Brody in 2000, and became the third generation of Brody’s to join the family business of financial professionals. As a Financial Adviser with Eagle Strategies, LLC, Dave works with successful business owners and families to create financial strategies for wealth creation, business and family protection, estate preservation and retirement planning. Clients engage the Brody, Walsh & Brody process to crystallize their financial objectives, help them to take action and to provide ongoing monitoring of their progress.
Dave holds a degree in business from the University of Arizona, and has earned a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation from The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA. He has qualified for New York Life’s President’s Council in 2008 and 2010, and has served as past President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of San Francisco.
Active in his community, Dave coaches youth baseball and basketball, is a past board member of the Marin YMCA, is an organizer of the Rob Paoli Memorial Basketball Tournament and a proud business sponsor of the Dixie School District Can Do! Foundation. Dave and his wife, Jenn, have two children and live in San Rafael, CA.
Christopher P. Brody
Chris and his wife, Ashleigh, live in San Rafael, California and have one child. He graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in Communications.
He previously worked for LucasArts Entertainment, Company in Marin County before joining his father, Bill, and brother, David, at New York Life in 2003. He has qualified for New York LIfe's Executive Council for more than five years and is currently taking advanced course work and training in estate and insurance planning.
Chris is proud to be a third generation agent for New York Life, often calling upon clients who his grandfather first sold policies to over 50 years ago. He works mostly with young families but has gained valuable experience from working with his father as well.

Yvonne Villegas
Yvonne is the office manager for the firm, responsible for smooth operation of the day-today business and seeing that clients get what they need, when they need it. Yvonne joined Brody Walsh & Brody in 1991, and has over 21 years of experience in the areas of processmanagement, customer service, benefits and insurance. Yvonne manages the underwriting and service processes for clients, and supervises all administrative operations within the company. She has been an active member of the National Notary Association since 1997.
Yvonne is a third generation native San Franciscan, and resides in the city with her husband Miguel.
